Bristol Celebrates the 9th July 2011

HolyNativity Church, Knowle, Bristol

A date for your diary!

A gathering of Oxford Mission friends has been organised in Bristol for 9th July 2011 at Holy Nativity Church, Wells Road, Knowle, Bristol - not Holy Trinity as indicated in the newsletter recently circulated by post!

The meeting will commence with a sung Eucharist at 11.30 a.m. This will be followed by lunch and a talk by Mr. Simon Ling, Chairman of the UK Committee, on his recent visit to India and Bangladesh, with Mrs Mary Marsh, General Secretary.

Everyone attending is asked to bring their own lunch (there is a food shop nearby). Parking facilities at the Church should be adequate.

We are looking forward to seeing as many people as possible.

The Church is a short distance from Bristol Temple Meads station. For directions and a map please use the following link www.achurchnearyou.com/knowle-the-holy-nativity/ then click on the Find Us tab.

The church is not known by name but to taxi and bus drivers as the red church with the green topped tower (see image to the right) half a mile up the Wells Road past Temple Meads. It is very visible.

There is very limited disabled parking at the church. Parking can be found in the side streets on the west side of Wells Road.

There are 3 bus services from the city centre and Temple Meads that pass the church and stop nearby:
